What this is...

This is a place where I'm keeping my favorite links for quilting and craft sewing. It is not meant to be all-inclusive, but rather a storage location instead of bookmarking everything. Hopefully you will find it useful, too. 6/26/2011

Boxed corner pouches

I've started making some boxed corner pouches (think men's toiletry case) and found some links for calculating measurements so that is what I'm putting here. I think they all basically say the same thing but the first one does have an actual calculator.

And directions! There are many websites with directions. Some have a seam in the bottom and some don't. Some cut the corners out before sewing, others make a triangle, stitch and cut. Some use fusible fleece and some just use an interfacing...so many options!

Twirled or Swirled Seams

I have seen Eleanor Burns do this method in videos, but it is nice to have some written information on how to do this...I'm trying to work with some smaller blocks this year so it is an important technique to master.

OK...almost 3 years later

I have been updating some of the links but just haven't updated the posts...If you discover any of the links here no longer work, please let me know!

I'm excited to be getting ready to go to EXPO again! I think that this makes 8 or 9 years I have attended...always lots of fun and full of info and lots of good 'stuff' to add to my stash!
